If the booking number, incident number, court case number, or location is known, include it. The county form also asks for a delivery method, so state whether an electronic copy, inspection appointment, mailed copy, or another delivery route is requested.
Jackson County Mugshot Law
North Carolina public-records law is broad, but booking photos sit in a more specific criminal-record context. G.S. 132-1 and G.S. 132-1.4 work together for this issue. G.S. 132-1 defines public records compiled by state and local agencies as property of the people unless another law limits access. Use the Jackson County Public Records Request Form when a written form is preferred. If copies are needed, the county fee schedule lists ordinary copy charges, no charge for Adobe PDF files, postage at USPS rates, and possible special service charges for requests requiring extensive staff or IT resources. Jackson County App Limits
The official sheriff app exists, but the store listings do not document a public roster photo field.
